Bill Nye The Science Guy is getting roasted online for his TikTok video touting the Biden administration’s “Build Back Better” agenda as “cool” — and featuring a cameo from President Biden himself.

“Consider the following… #infrastructure is #cool,” Nye captioned the more than 1-minute clip Tuesday.

The TV scientist is referred to as a “science icon” before he descends into a speech about the recently signed bill, emphasizing the importance for repairing America’s infrastructure and providing funding for climate change.

Biden joins Nye about halfway through — and is introduced as “Amtrak Joe.”

“You’re using my lines here,” Biden quips, as Nye tells him, “I really am a believer in this.”

Critics swiftly slammed the promo — with Jenna Ellis, an ex-senior legal adviser for former President Donald Trump, pointing out on Twitter that the video was eerily similar to a parody Babylon Bee article from 2017.

“‘Science icon’ Another @TheBabylonBee prophecy come true, @SethDillon,” she wrote, tagging the CEO of the self-proclaimed fake news site and linking to the article.

The article in question was published in April 2017 and titled, “Scientists Abandon Search For Bill Nye’s Credibility.”

Other critics also lambasted Nye’s title on the TikTok.

“Insanely demented,” Washington Free Beacon reporter Joe Gabriel Simonson tweeted, sharing a screenshot of the video where Nye is called a “Science icon.”

Ellen Carmichael, president of the Lafayette Company, accused the administration of allowing anyone to weigh in on the infrastructure debate — which lasted for months due to intense negotiations within the Democratic party.

“If they’re just letting any guy with a mechanical engineering degree weigh in on the infrastructure debate, my dad’s got some opinions…” she said.

Some took issue with Biden appearing in the video, with conservative radio host Mike Opelka bashing the president for his priorities.

“Our @POTUS has not found time to visit Waukesha and meet with the families destroyed by the (accused) murderer & racist who mowed down dozens,” he tweeted. “He did make it to MN to sell his massive bill and then made this with another worthless Bill. #propaganda”

Fox News contributor Stephen Miller highlighted the president’s vacant gaze in the video, asking White House Deputy Director of Digital Strategy Christian Tom — who shared the video — if Biden knew what was going on during filming.

“Christian, answer honestly. The president has no idea what’s going on in this does he?” Miller wrote.

Others simply called the video propaganda.

Republicans slammed Biden's "vacant-looking expression" and said the president had no idea what was going on.

“Getting older is realizing that Bill Nye was government propaganda in elementary school,” Mike Hahn of the National Republican Senatorial Committee said

Nye visited the White House early last month to meet with Biden and film the video, according to CNN. The outlet reported he was set to film the TikTok on Nov. 9 — over two weeks before Omicron was first detected by the World Health Organization.

Throughout Biden’s time in office so far, the administration has teamed up with several high-profile celebrities, such as pop singer Olivia Rodrigo and R&B singer Ciara, as well as well-known online influencers to promote their agenda — particularly COVID-19 vaccines.

Since last year, Nye has used TikTok to deliver messages in line with the administration’s recommendations regarding masks, as well as lessons on racial equality. He became famous in the 1990s for appearing in a children’s education program where he was known as “Bill Nye the Science Guy.”
