A small aircraft has crashed into the Lengthy Island Hold forth the coast of Connecticut as emergency crews rushed to rescue these on board. 

The Piper PA-32 went down on Sunday morning simply ten minutes after it took off from Bridgeport-Sikorsky Airport round 10.30am.

The plane crashed six miles from Tweed and sunk into the water with its occupants struggling minor accidents, based on the Coast Guard.

An investigation into the crash has been launched by the Federal Aviation Administration.
