Despite Germany’s quality and the history of the fixture, Saka isn’t fazed ahead of the game
Although he only has six England caps, Saka’s fearlessness and adaptability make him a very useful option for Gareth Southgate.
Despite his undoubted talent, it isn’t guaranteed that Saka will retain his place in the starting lineup against Germany, with Phil Foden in contention to return, while Jack Grealish will also be looking to return to the side.
If he is involved, Saka will look to replicate many of the performances he produced for Arsenal last season, when he was often the Gunners’ star player even in difficult circumstances.
Given his age and ability there could well be many further international tournaments that Saka will be involved in, but he is determined to play a key part this summer.
