The Australian’s Sophie Elsworth says she thinks “everyone needs a break” from politicians as Parliament enters its final sitting week for the year.
“We’re sick of hearing from politicians,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“We’re sick of being told what to do by them and let’s come back in the new year, hopefully fresh after not hearing from them for a couple of months every day.
“And I think we’ll be having an election around May.”
