The controversial Victorian pandemic bill is set to pass in Parliament with a vote expected later on Tuesday – as a heavy police presence keeps protesters back.
Transport Matters MP Rod Barton will vote in favour of the legislation after the government agreed to six amendments to the bill, according to the Herald Sun.
The bill will allow Premier Daniel Andrews to declare future pandemics and then enforce rules.
