‘Great honour to be representing Australia’: Albanese lays flowers for the Queen in London English Headline

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his partner Jodie Haydon have been pictured joining mourners as they pay respects to the Queen.

The Prime Minister laid flowers at Green Park, next to Buckingham Palace, alongside the Australian flag.

The bouquet was accompanied by a card reading: “With deepest sympathy, from the Prime Minister and Government of the Commonwealth of Australia”.

“It’s a great honour to be representing Australia here,” Mr Albanese said.
