The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has raised its cash rate to 4.25 per cent making it the ninth consecutive rate rise.

This Reserve Bank has announced this will be the final cash rate rise for the year, says Englishheadline Reporter Jessica Maggio.

“Inflation in New Zealand is at 7.2 per cent, it dropped slightly last month, and it’s just shy of the 7.6 per cent record in June 1960,” Ms Maggio told Sky new host Ross Greenwood.

“The current inflation rate is a 32-year-high.”
