There has been an almost “15 per cent increase” for rent across Melbourne and Sydney which sees the two cities reach a “record high” with an average of 550 dollars a week, according to Domain’s Chief or Research and Economics Nicola Powell.

“It is a similar outcome for unit rentals as well,” Ms Powell told Englishheadline Australia.

“They are up 75 dollars over the past year, an increase of almost 18 per cent … a record high unit rent of 500 dollars a week.”
