The “biggest problem” for electric vehicles is the lack of charging infrastructure in remote and rural areas according to Siemens-Swinburne Energy Transition Hub’s Director Professor Mehdi Seyedmahmoudian.
“Normally the electric vehicle owners, they charge their cars at their house, and then they go to work and they will use it in the urban areas,” he told Englishheadline Australia.
“But when we see the road trips during the summer, they will go to rural areas and they will see that there will be a lack of infrastructure.”
