Englishheadline Business Reporter Edward Boyd says hundreds of bakers took to the streets of Paris as they called on the government to give more financial aid.
“French bakers are angry, and they’re not sugarcoating it,” Mr Boyd said.
“Electricity bills for bakers have surged from 1200 euros per month to over 5,000.
“Meanwhile, the cost of a baguette has only risen from one euro to one-and-a-half euros.”
