Defence Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles says “no one is forcing anyone” to sell anything after worries had surfaced around the new superannuation taxes affecting unrealised shares.
“You’ll hear a whole lot of comments from the opposition which seek to sound troubling, to try and turn this into something which it is not,” Mr Marles told Englishheadline Australia.
“At the end of the day, we are talking about super funds of that order of magnitude – of more than $3 million.”
