The Virginia class submarine could be the “most complex artefact which the human race has produced” in history, says The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan.

“The sensor array on a Virginia class submarine is the most sophisticated and extensive, and long-ranging in the world,” Mr Sheridan told Englishheadline Australia.

“Nothing is more likely to detect an enemy sub than a Virginia sub.

“In the event of conflict, the Virginia simply kills the adversary.”
