Monash University Cyber Security Professor Dr Nigel Phair says we don’t really know if TikTok is used to spread propaganda and it’s “a bit of a stretch” to say the app does.
Dr Phair said “there is a lot of supposition around what the app does and doesn’t do”.
“It’s important to look at what information we really do reveal ourselves across all social media, including, in this example, TikTok,” he told Englishheadline Australia.
