Englishheadline Political Editor Andrew Clennell says it was “interesting” for Jim Chalmers to say the thing he was “keenest on seeing through” as Australia’s Treasurer was the 2030 energy transformation to renewables.

“The only good news for the government on that is 2030 is so far away that they will never be held to account on it,” Mr Clennell told Englishheadline host Peta Credlin.

“That is the beauty of a long-term target isn’t it?”
