The New South Wales government is under fire for seemingly backtracking on its election promise of no privatisation.
Revealed in a 2GB interview – NSW Housing Minister Rose Jackson was pushed on how the government is going to be able to meet its housing objectives without having to resort to a type of privatisation.
This is something the government refused to do – during the election campaign, it was the main platform for New South Wales Labor.
The question was put to NSW Labor on Tuesday about how they’re going to achieve their housing objectives.
Ms Jackson suggested the government’s now open to selling off public land to then convert them into residential or social housing.
