Englishheadline Business Editor Ross Greenwood says public sector wages appear to be catching up with the trajectory of the private sector; this comes off the news the annual wage has increased to 3.7 per cent, “the highest in 11 years”.
According to the ABS, the number of people getting a pay rise from four and six per cent “is right now soaring,” Mr Greenwood said.
