New South Wales Health Minister Ryan Park is calling for patience ahead of the state paramedics’ planned strike action on Thursday as the Health Services Union says “time’s up” for Chris Minns’ government to remove the public sector wage gap.
Paramedics and patient transport workers will refuse to transfer discharged patients from hospital to homes and aged care centres, with the union warning at least 1,000 patients could be affected.
