Three teenage boys are in a stable condition in hospital after they were allegedly struck by a vehicle on the Pacific Highway on New South Wales’ North Shore Thursday afternoon. 

Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway near Falcon Street, Crows Nest about 3.30pm following reports of a crash. 

North Shore Police Officers attended the scene where they were told a car had hit three teenage boys. 

The trio sustained leg and head injuries in the incident and were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. 

NSW Ambulance confirmed one of the three patients suffered a hip injury with two boys transmitted to Westmead Children’s Hospital and another to Sydney Children’s Hospital. 

Officers arrested a man at Lane Cove about 4pm who was then taken to Chatswood Police Station to assist police with inquiries.

Traffic was affected by the incident with local diversions set up as a result.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area.
