Former Australian cricket captain Brian Booth has died at age 89.

The late Mr Booth donned the baggy green on 29 occasions for Australia and was key to the country’s dominance during the early 1960s.

The New South Welshmen also represented Australia in hockey at the Melbourne Olympic games in 1956.

Brian Booth is survived by his wife Judy and four daughters.
