Government’s actions make a ‘big difference’ to energy bills: Plibersek | Englishheadline

Minister for the Environment and Water Tanya Plibersek says that Australian families are navigating challenging times, which have been partially alleviated by the government’s actions to curb rising energy prices.

“We know that the price increase would be double without the action that the government took,” Ms Plibersek told Englishheadline Australia.

“That’s why it’s so disappointing that the opposition has voted against energy bill relief for Australian families, as well as the measures we took to intervene in the energy market before Christmas.”
