The Prime Minister has delivered an impassioned plea for Australians to back the Indigenous voice as he accuses Opposition leader Peter Dutton of amplifying misinformation.
During the PM’s speech, Mr Albanese made it clear he won’t be changing the wording of the Voice referendum and to do so would “undermine the work of Indigenous leaders”.
Mr Albanese also used his speech as an attack on Mr Dutton as he circled back to the arguments the Opposition leader made in the chamber that the Voice would divide Australia by race.
