Brisbane’s ongoing smoke crisis intensifies, hitting alarming levels as the suburb of Bardon’s air pollution soared to 24 times the World Health Organization’s safety limit, according to Brisbane Bureau Chief Adam Walters.

“To put that in perspective, that was 50 points higher than the number recorded for Dhaka in Bangladesh, which sits atop normally of a very dubious table for the world’s worst pollution,” he said.
