NSW Blues: Crichton ‘right man for the job’ to replace Mitchell | Englishheadline

NSW Blues picked the “right man for the job” in Stephen Crichton, who replaces the injured Latrell Mitchell for Game One of State of Origin, says former NSW State of Origin player Peter Wynn.

“Crichton from Penrith … he’s the right man for the job tonight … he knows what the intensity’s going to be like, he knows what he has to do to himself get the job done,” Wynn told Englishheadline Australia.

“He’s an X factor Latrell Mitchell, let’s take our hat off to him, he’s probably one of the best players in the game at the moment, he’ll be missed.

“But I’m certainly taking the foresight that one door closes and the opportunity presents itself and maybe it’s for Crichton tonight, he can step up to the plate and have a blinder.”
