Fans unlikely to be spared of the AFL’s ‘virtue signalling’ despite Voice move | Englishheadline

Englishheadline host Rita Panahi says it is “unlikely” fans will be spared of the AFL’s “regular bouts of incoherent virtue signalling” despite the league’s move to rule out government promotion of the Voice during the Grand Final.

“Footy fans may be wondering if this is the start of a new era for the AFL under incoming CEO Andrew Dillon where they, shock horror, concentrate on the business of running the country’s leading football league and leave the politicking to the politicians?” she said.
