Kim Jong Un celebrates founding day with paramilitary forces parade | Englishheadline

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un invited Chinese and Russian diplomats to a midnight parade in the capital of Pyongyang to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the country’s founding.

The event featured displays from paramilitary forces, but there was no sign of any showcasing of weaponry, including intercontinental ballistic missiles.

There are rumours the North Korean leader could visit Russia later this month.

Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin will discuss the possibility of North Korea providing Moscow with weapons to support its war in Ukraine.

His visit to Moscow would mark his first foreign travel since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
