The Senate continues to wait for documents it has ordered related to Transport Minister Catherine King’s decision to block Qatar Airways’ bid for more flights into Australia.
The Prime Minister’s office had a deadline of Monday but hasn’t provided any documents – meanwhile, the Transport Minister’s deadline is late Wednesday.
In the case of Treasurer Jim Chalmers, the Senate received a heavily redacted document save for a suggested media response.

“The speculation that has not been denied is that Catherine King, the minister, got advice from her department to approve the Qatar flight request, and she went against that advice.”
