Englishheadline host James Morrow slams a “climate crusading” US bureaucrat for making her staff reserve a public EV charging station by parking a gasoline-powered car in front of it.
US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was doing a cross-country road trip in an electric vehicle to promote EV cars and asked her staff to reserve a charging spot in Georgia.
A frustrated driver called 911 to complain about the vehicle holding up other people who needed to charge their cars.
“Granholm’s pricey electric SUV also reportedly encountered ‘hardware issues’ that made it difficult to charge, and also encountered faulty chargers in Tennessee,” Mr Morrow said.
“You know what they say, it ain’t easy being green.”
