A Russian spacecraft carrying two cosmonauts and an American astronaut has departed for the International Space Station.
The Soyuz MS-24 rocket departed from Kazakhstan.
They have successfully joined the current crew of NASA astronauts at the ISS where they will begin their year-long stay.
The mission comes after Russia’s space programme suffered a major setback last month when a spacecraft crashed during an attempted landing on the Moon.
The ISS is one of the few international projects the United States and Russia work closely on.
