Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe is a “poor representative for her party,” according to Liberal Senator James McGrath.
Ms Thorpe has apologised and retracted a comment she allegedly made towards Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes in the Senate.
During a heated Senate debate, Ms Thorpe allegedly told Ms Hughes to keep her legs shut.
“I don’t think Senator Thorpe is a great parliamentarian,” Mr McGrath told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“I think the Greens are embarrassed by her.”
