Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has said she is “very worried” about the new variant of COVID-19.
Ms Palaszczuk made the remark in the state’s parliament following the unconfirmed reports there is a case of Omicron in New South Wales outside of quarantine.
She said she was concerned about this case, particularly because of how other countries have responded.
